01 Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Hancock Digital Design LLC (“Hancock,” “we,” “us”) handles information on hancockdigital.com. The Site is informational only — it does not collect personal information beyond what is necessary to operate the website itself.

Each of our operating brands maintains its own privacy policy specific to its products and services. This Policy does not govern those brands; please refer to each brand’s own website for its privacy practices.

02 Information we collect

Information you give us

If you contact us via email at scott@hancockdigital.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We do not collect personal information via forms on this Site.

Automatically collected

Our hosting provider may log standard server information (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp, referring URL) for security, debugging, and abuse prevention purposes. These logs are retained for no more than 30 days.

Cookies and tracking

The Site does not use third-party advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking. We do not maintain visitor profiles. We do not use behavioral retargeting.

03 How we use information

Information collected through the Site is used solely to:

  • Respond to inquiries you initiate via email
  • Maintain the security and availability of the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade information collected through the Site. We do not use it for advertising or to train machine learning models.

04 Service providers

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Email correspondence is handled through Google Workspace. Both providers maintain their own privacy and security commitments under their respective policies (Cloudflare, Google).

05 Your rights

Regardless of where you reside, you may contact us at any time to:

  • Request a copy of any personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention obligations)
  • Object to or restrict our processing

If you reside in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR provides additional rights including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you reside in California, the CCPA/CPRA provides similar rights.

06 International transfers

Hancock Digital Design LLC operates from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, server logs and any information you send to us will be transferred to and processed in the US, which has different data protection laws than your country.

07 Children

The Site is intended for adults engaged in business activity. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

08 Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect the Site, including HTTPS for all traffic, two-factor authentication on internal accounts, and minimal data collection. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery as required by applicable law.

09 Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
